6/1/07 Radio interview with WIRK. JD, Tiny, Bill, and Megan, the Wake Up Crew, welcomed me into the studio for an interview. Tiny is the reason that I went to Quick Weightloss Center. I LOVE Tiny!!
6/14/07 Photo Shoot at Avenue Productions. One of my prizes as Mrs. Florida was a photo shoot with the talent agency, Avenue Productions. This was fun, and I was pleased with the results!
6/16/07 Women Empowering Women Conference, Tarpon Springs, Fl. I was a guest speaker at this phenomenal event. It was so empowering to hear many inspiring stories from other women. It was so empowering!! So amazing. I met Sheryl Smiles, Publisher, of the Tampa Bay Woman Newspaper, Pasco Edition. I was also fortunate to meet the Mayor of Tarpon Springs, Beverly Billiris.

7/26/07 Set of "Burn Notice" (USA Network), Miami Beach, Fl. Avenue Production Talent Agency called and asked if I was available to be an extra on the TV show Burn Notice. I played a US attorney in an episode that aired on 9/13/07. It was a long, hot day on Miami Beach. I wore a black business suit, and we filmed the same scene over and over all day long. I lost feeling in my toes from being in heels all day!! It was a neat experience. I met two of the stars of the show, Gabrielle Anwar, and Bruce Campbell. More importantly I met a great new friend, Jennifer Perez. She will be competing in the 2008 Ms. Florida Pageant!!
8/6/07 Sullivan Cadillac, Ocala, Fl. Sullivan Cadillac is one of my sponsors for the national pageant. Visited the showroom of Sullivan Cadillac to take pictures for the national program book. 8/5/07-8/12/07 Family Vacation, Kissimmee, Fl. One of my biggest prizes as Mrs. Florida was the 8 day/7 night stay at a vacation home in Kissimmee, Fl. The Pratts Family are an amazing family, and they donated the home to the winner. It was a fantastic time for us to bond as a family, and hit all the big parks in Orlando. We went to Blizzard Beach, Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, and the Pirate's Dinner Theater. It was a ton of fun! The kids had a great time. 8/29/07-9/1/07 US Continental Pageant, Salt Lake City, UT. I had a rough start to the weekend, flight out of West Palm Beach was delayed for 1 1/2 hours. I missed my connecting flight in Atlanta. I had to spend the night in Atlanta, and fly out the next morning. I was two hours late to the orientation of the pageant.
I was finally able to chill out and enjoy the experience. We visited the Gateway Mall and had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. We went to the "Bees" Baseball game, and I danced with the mascot.
Competition was fierce. I felt amazing about my interview, fitness, and evening gown. I place 2nd Runner Up, and was the recipient of a lifetime scholarship to John Robert Powers.
My sister queens are Rena (Ms. US) and Chelsea (Teen Miss US). Congratulations to both of them for winning the national title. Love you girls.

9/14/07 - 9/16/07 Mrs. Florida International Pageant, Miami Beach, Fl Attended the Mrs. Florida International Pageant in Miami Beach to support my friend Paula Spalding, Mrs. Treasure Coast. And to support the outgoing queen, Robin Flemming, owner of La Casa Hermosa (http://www.lacasahermosa.com/). Another friend, Kelly Fason, Mrs. Palm Beach County, competed in the pageant. Rena, Ms. US Continental, and I attended the dinner on Friday evening for all of the contestants and their spouses. We were able to introduce ourselves to the audience along with the other visiting queens, and walked the runway!! It was fun. Saturday the preliminary competition was held, and Sunday the final competition, with the crowning of Ashley McGuire, Mrs. Wellington, as the new Mrs. Florida International. I met Annilee Hastey, Miss Florida Teen USA 2007, and the owner of Pageant Ready, Jules Meyers (www.pageantready.com).

9/19/07 American Heart Association Heart Walk Fundraiser, West Palm Beach, FL I attended a celebrity bar tending event at John Bull Pub in West Palm Beach. The event was sponsored by Wachovia Bank. I was there to help sell raffle tickets, and to promote the Heart Walk. The event raised over $5,000 for the American Heart Association. There I met Susan DellaPorta, a lifestyle hero too!
9/29/07 Start! Heart Walk, West Palm Beach, Fl Team Mrs. Florida met at the Meyer Ampitheater in West Palm Beach to walk in the 2007 Start! Heart Walk. My team consisted of, my three children, Brianna, Logan, and Blake; my friend Jen, and her two children, Kayla and Richard; Rena Arellano, Ms. US Continental 2007, and her man Steve; my friend Paula Spalding, Mrs. Treasure Coast, and Vivian Rice, Mrs. North Miami Beach; and my friend Hannah Fearing. Our team raised $600.

10/23/07 Heart Walk Celebration, West Palm Beach, Fl A celebration party was held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center to honor all the teams that helped to raise funds for the the Greater West Palm Beach Heart Walk. The Walk raised over $600,000 for the American Heart Association.
10/24/07 Bald is Beautiful, Boynton Beach, Fl Nothing says we’ve got your back quite like shaving off all your hair! - No, not me - Boynton Beach Police Officers, and people in the community shaved their heads at the Bald is Beautiful Head Shaving Event for Maggie. Maggie is the 8-year-old daughter of Officer Steve Schoenfeld, and she is bravely battling leukemia and losing her hair from chemotherapy. The proceeds from the head shaving benefit the Margaret Alyson Schoenfeld fund. My husband, Brent, and my three children went with me to this fundraising event. My boys were so thoughtful, and they decided to shave their heads for this sweet little girl.
There were ponies at the event. The owners of the ponies had me take a picture with them in their crowns too!! 
11/10/2007 - Miss Lake Placid Pageant, Lake Placid, Florida Served as a judge for the Miss Lake Placid Pageant in Lake Placid, Florida. This is the pageant that that my sister queen, Chelsea Seignious, was crowned Miss Lake Placid 2005. Dawn Zahaller is the pageant director. I med Dawn at the Mrs. Florida Pageant where she was Mrs. Lake Placid. This is such a wonderful community, and the new Miss Lake Placid will have a great reign.
11/27/2007 - Christmas on Las Olas, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida This annual event is held the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Carroll's Jeweler's shop is located on Las Olas Blvd. They sponsor the Florida State Pageant winners with a beautiful custom watch. To show our support for Carroll's, all three of the Florida Queens made an appearantce at this wonderful event. It was so much fun! We met so many people, signed autographs, and took pictures.
12/1/2007 - Boynton Beach Holiday Parade, Boynton Beach, Florida This was my first parade as Mrs. Florida!! WOW! It was an amazing experience. Maroone Chevrolet of Greenacres, Florida, sponsored me by providing a silver Corvette for me to ride in. My wonderful husband, and friend, Brent drove me and my three children in the parade. It was exciting to see so many people enjoying the holiday festivities. My children LOVED being in the parade with me! I enjoyed sharing the experience with them!
12/5/2007 - My 14th Wedding Anniversary!! I love my husband, and am so happy to be sharing this time with him. We have been together for 16 years, and married for 14!! I love you honey!!
